GANPATI, who is the son of Lord Shiva and Sakthi has made a remarkable presence through the history of Ancient India. Lord Ganesh, who is also has many other names like Vinayak, Ekadanta, Akurath, has occupied the hearts of thousands of people all over the world. Though Hindus have 33 crores of gods and goddesses, Lord Ganesh is distinctly identified as the first and foremost of all. In Tamil Nadu, a ten days long festival called Ganesh utsav has first been celebrated by the organization called Hindu Munnani in Triplicane. The main objective of this celebration is to create unity between people and also for the societies to prospect with wealth and welfare.
With the same inspiration and desire, our Team had laid the foundation of the Committee in the year 1999, and after 17 years of hard work, our Lord, Sri Bala Vinayagar Chathurthi Vizha kuzhu got a new name "Allikkeni Raja", as Triplicane was originally called as "Allikkeni". Since then, we are proud that we are taking an active part in all social activities in the area, which we believe would enlighten the humanity as well as secure peace in all aspects.
